About Dare To Grow

Getting Here Cost You Something

There's something humbling about the moment you admit you need help.

Sometimes it arrives quietly, on an ordinary afternoon, when you're tired of handling all of it alone. Other times it takes a wall, a loss, or the day your usual way of coping quits on you.

You try everything else first. You try to change, to communicate better, to be less anxious and more patient and more present, and you promise yourself that next time will go differently.

Then you land right back where you started. So what does that actually tell you?

The Pattern Is Older Than Your Willpower

Every one of those attempts was real. Each one ran into something built long before you decided to change it.

That makes you human.

Reaching for support asks more of you than people realize, especially after years of telling yourself you should be able to handle it alone.

This step is a big deal. You should be proud you made it this far.

What Is It Like to Be My Client?

I want therapy to feel like a place where you can finally exhale.

You'll be fully seen here. Not only the version of yourself you know how to explain, but the parts that are complicated, uncomfortable, wounded, or still trying to make sense of things.

The Work Won't Get Ahead of You

Before I was a therapist, I was a personal trainer. You learn fast in that job that progress starts with the weight the person in front of you can actually move today.

Therapy works the same way. I'll meet you where you are, not where you think you should be, and we'll build from your real capacity, your values, your relationships, and what you need right now.

We won't run from the hard stuff. But we also won't live there.

You'll Feel Relief Before You Feel Finished

Therapy has a reputation for being heavy. Some of the work does ask you to look straight at what you'd rather leave alone.

Here's what sits right beside that.

Relief.

The relief of finally putting words to something you've never said out loud. The relief of understanding why you respond the way you do. And then the quieter one: seeing that the patterns you built were trying to protect you, back when they had to.

Turn Toward What You've Been Going Around

Relief opens the door. Empowerment is what walks through it.

Look directly at what shaped you, and its authority over you starts to change.

Your history stops getting a vote in what comes next.

There's More in You Than What Went Wrong

There will be shadows in this work: old wounds, fear, grief, anger, parts of yourself you've spent years avoiding. You don't have to be afraid of what's there. What you've been treating as your weakness has real information in it, and I'll help you read it.

That is part of what it means to Dare To Grow.

My mission is simple: to guide as many people as I can toward growth, so they can feel lighter, more confident, and more capable of building intentional lives and real connection with the people who matter.

The Questions I Ask You, I've Asked Myself

The hard questions I invite my clients into are ones I've already had to answer for myself. Insecurities, wounds I hadn't examined, patterns I couldn't yet name.

At some point I wanted more, so I got curious about myself. Therapy came first, then the parts of my past I didn't want to look at.

Calling myself out when an old pattern resurfaced came later, and so did learning to meet myself with compassion instead of shame. Somewhere in there I found my voice and started making choices from empowerment rather than fear.

Growth kept asking me to choose it again. It still does, and helping someone step into that is my favorite part of this work.

What I Bring to Our Work Together

I hold a Master's degree in Social Work and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, working virtually with clients across New Jersey. My clinical training centers on couples work, anxiety and depression, identity development, and trauma-informed care.

Inside a session I pull from CBT, attachment-based therapy, solution-focused and empowerment therapy, and Gottman research. Which of those shows up depends on who you are and what you're actually working on.

Outside of therapy, I'm usually meditating, moving my body, or getting lost down a rabbit hole about the universe and quantum physics. I thoroughly enjoy being a student of life, too.

Begin Before You Have the Words

You don't need to know exactly what's wrong. You don't need the right diagnosis, or the right words ready when we begin.

Willingness is the whole entry requirement.

I'll meet you there, and we'll figure out the rest together.

Come Look at It with Me

Somewhere up there was a Wednesday, a bag by the door, or a message you rewrote four times before you sent it. You knew which one was yours.

Growth starts with being willing to look at that again, with somebody in the room who has seen it before and won't flinch.

No pressure. Just a conversation.
